We create small companions for big feelings. Embracing the Japanese concept of ikigai, ikibean is a soft space for all of us who is trying to get through everyday life gently. Desk friends, stickers, paper goods, and quiet buddies for days that don’t always have words for themselves.

ikibean desk friends are little handmade companions created to stay beside you through ordinary moments.

They sit quietly near your laptop during long workdays, beside your notebook when your thoughts feel messy, or near your bed after tiring evenings. Some people keep them around while studying. Some anchor them at work. Some just like having something soft nearby when life feels a little loud.

You may also add essential oil to its little diffuser still buddy as they accompany you daily.

Yes, there is a real human behind the creations. Each desk friend is handsewn, stitch by stitch. They are created slowly in small batches. Others are designed carefully by us and produced in smaller quantities in our tiny studio so they can stay thoughtful and intentional rather than rushed.

We care a lot about how something feels to have in our lives, not just how it looks online.

Everyday life can already feel quite overwhelming. We don’t think comfort always has to come from big solutions or life-changing advice. Sometimes it’s just:
